Meeting Overview

Join the SB Member community for learning, collaboration, and hands-on strategy-building focused on one of our key business challenges: selling the value of more environmentally and socially responsible brands to the various key stakeholders we need onboard, including customers!

We'll explore how brands can authentically communicate their sustainability commitments and inspire consumers to choose products and services that create value for business, people, and the planet. Gain practical tools and methodologies for translating purpose into preference - learning through community connection and co-creating how to tell compelling stories, design meaningful customer experiences, and activate internal teams to make sustainability a core driver of growth.

Together we'll examine what's working in today's dynamic environment, what's next, and how to move from awareness to action to build stronger brands through the power of customer connection.

This SB Member-exclusive gathering is part of our Member Meeting series, intended to create a safe and productive space for discussion, raise shared obstacles and insights, and enable the co-creation of solutions that drive progress for all.

Speakers: KoAnn Skrzyniarz CEO & Founder, Sustainable Brands

Join Sustainable Brands and FINN Partners to kickoff the meeting and welcome sustainability leaders from the SB Member Network.

9:00am - 10:15am - Panel and Discussion: Understanding the Sustainability-Driven Consumer
In this up to the minute insights share-out and table discussion, we will share insights from SB's recent "Good Life" consumer research and other key current studies to untangle what they tell us about changing consumer sentiment, what they DON'T tell us, and explore how best to find the answer we really need through the SB Member Collaborative.

10:15am - 10:45am - Getting Grounded - Morning Meditation and Networking Program Break

10:45am - 12:00pm - Reframing the Language of Sustainability for Today's Moment
How we talk about sustainability profoundly shapes how people understand, value, and act of it. In this discussion, one of SB's valued community thought leaders will share up to the minute research on the power of language to drive broader engagement, as well as action. Drawing from the latest insights on reframing sustainability narratives, participants will examine how familiar terms, like "ESG," "net zero" or event "sustainability" itself land differently across audiences, and how reframing can unlock new levels of engagement, understanding, and trust.

Together, we will explore communication strategies that bridge divides, reduce polarization, and connect sustainability to what people care about most: their families, communities, and shared future. The discussion will also set up a hands-on exercise for those interested in reframing techniques in their brands storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

12:00pm - 1:00pm - Lunch and Networking Break (In-person attendees only)

1:00pm - 3:00pm - Pull Factor Workshop: Strategies and Tactics for Making your Sustainable Brand Irresistible
In this workshop, attendees will bring their own internal case and work through with peers both brand and innovation communications strengths and opportunities via one of SB's proprietary workshops that can help you and our team take both to the next level.

3:00pm - 3:30pm - Networking Program Break (In-person attendees only)

3:30pm - 4:00pm - Reflection and Closing Conversations
