Discussion Group Overview:
Discussion Groups, which complement larger Member Meetings during the year, enable you to dig into a specialized subject area with a smaller group of peers on a regular basis.
The Science Based Targets Discussion Group is back - this time, to set baselines and benchmarks for SBTs straight! In December, Estee Lauder Corporation presented their cross-brand strategy to tackle Scope 3 emissions throughout their global supply operations, committing to reduce 95 percent of their company-wide emissions from raw materials to end-of-life products. This Member-led dialogue explored evidence-driven milestones, renewable resources incorporated across the business, and internal frameworks to push targeted goals forward.
In the second iteration of this Discussion Group, Members will consider the role Purpose has in determining, and setting, corporate sustainability targets across their value chain.
