Learning Circles: Navigating Change, Driving Innovation, and Shaping the Future Together

That’s why we’re excited to reintroduce our revitalized discussion groups as Learning Circles – monthly gatherings, on four different topics, exclusively for the SB Member Network. These circles provide a dedicated opportunity to drive better business outcomes through meaningful conversations, the exchange of insights, and collective inspiration. 

Designed to foster connection and innovation, Learning Circles empower you to learn, grow, and tackle sustainability challenges alongside a community of like-minded leaders. Building on the success of last year’s discussion groups, we’re thrilled to introduce new topics and more frequent opportunities to engage throughout 2025.

What’s Happening?

Each month, we’ll host four unique gatherings, each designed to address critical themes and drive actionable outcomes: 

  • Leadership & Courage - Led by Michael Dupee, CEO of Sustainable Brands, this circle explores the evolving demands of leadership and courage in today’s dynamic environment. Together, participants will address the unique challenges faced by leaders in multinational consumer goods companies, sharing strategies for navigating uncertainty, fostering innovation, and making bold, impactful decisions.

  • Seeing Around Corners - Hosted by KoAnn Skrzyniarz, Founder of Sustainable Brands, this circle focuses on anticipating emerging trends, navigating ambiguity, and staying ahead of the curve. Participants will exchange strategies, build foresight, and explore proactive approaches to leading with confidence in a rapidly changing world.

  • Innovation for Growth & Impact - Led by Christine Smitz, Director of Membership Programming and Business Transformation at Sustainable Brands, this circle examines how to drive innovation that accelerates business success while creating meaningful social and environmental value. Participants will share insights, challenge conventional thinking, and collaborate on bold strategies to transform organizations and industries.

  • Consumer Research & Insights Facilitated by Rachel Whitacre, Director of Consumer Insights and Activation at Sustainable Brands, this monthly Circle dives into the latest consumer research and trends. Together, participants will uncover actionable insights, explore the intersection of consumer behavior and sustainability, and discuss the implications and applications of consumer research for business growth. This is a space to share best practices, tackle challenges, and collaborate on innovative approaches to understanding and engaging today’s evolving consumer landscape.
