Member Meetings offer one-of-a-kind opportunities for brands to learn from other Members across the SB network, understand their shared goals and challenges, and coalesce around system-wide ESG developments.
This March, join Corporate and Affiliate Member leaders as they discover and discuss the innovative design opportunities of the future. From inclusive, thoughtful design that results in positive impacts throughout product life cycles, to reframing what we know about innovation altogether, this meeting will showcase the latest products, services, design approaches, and business models that are helping organizations of all sizes deliver on their sustainability ambitions and establish a new business as usual. Whether your organization’s sustainability commitments focus on environmental, social, or internal governance needs - or all three - hear from brands across the SB network dedicated to equipping themselves and consumers with unique ways to participate in the solutions of the future. Throughout two half-days of programming, Members will be among like-minded leaders who are invested in and working towards a more sustainable future through actionable ideation, brand collaboration, and strategic commitment.
Members will focus on peer-to-peer learning, sharing, prototyping, and collaborating to create systems-wide ripples in innovative design principles. Attendees can anticipate hands-on, interactive working sessions alongside industry-leading peers as they jointly build upon best practices for an ever-changing future.

Today's brands are being increasingly challenged by the consumers' desires for sustainable options, vying to create environmentally and visually appealing products and packaging, while simultaneously reducing their Scope 3 carbon emissions and impacts. To achieve these goals, brands aim to utilize reusable, recyclable, and compostable choices that allow the consumer to participate in a more circular system like never before.
In this two-part session, join hemp experts Heartland as they showcase how bio-based additives can create a clearer pathway toward reducing carbon impacts while increasing greater consumer utility for smarter, more sustainable plastics.
In part two of this session, learn how Avient Corporation integrates their strong portfolio of sustainable solutions to innovative and apply industry-leading circular design concepts to product manufacturing processes.
