Meeting Overview

Sustainable Brands Corporate Members meet in person each December to discuss how we can shift cultural norms and inspire our customers to adopt more sustainable behaviors. This year, we’re getting a boost from two highly influential partners who will join us – Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and solutions providers. Meeting attendees will work together and separately throughout the day to tackle changing customer behavior.

Corporate Members: The Corporate Member community will examine several approaches to behavior change throughout this meeting as we explore their applicability. We will look at consumers’ measurable physical and emotional responses and learn a process for targeting specific behaviors. We will also hear from several peers about their own behavior change initiatives – both successes and failures – and distill the key lessons learned.

Affiliate Members: This meeting marks the inaugural gathering of Sustainable Brands Affiliate Members, a new sister network for solution providers within the SB community. They will share the opening session with all meeting attendees, then join Corporate Members in a collaborative session. Following a joint lunch, Affiliate Members and Corporate Members will break into separate tracks for the afternoon to focus on how each can effectively nudge customer behavior from within their own sphere of influence.

CMO Summit: This meeting also marks the second annual CMO Summit, where our Corporate Members' top marketing and branding executives join us to engage in changing behavior. They will share the opening session of the day with all meeting attendees, then segue into a separate, invite-only summit session among their peers for the bulk of the morning. Through strategic dialogue, CMOs will explore how member companies can collectively leverage the strength of their respective brands to make sustainable living more attractive and attainable at scale. Participating CMOs may cap off their experience by rejoining all meeting attendees for lunch.

During the meeting, you’ll receive exclusive updates on the #BrandsforGood movement, which emerged from compelling conversations held at past December meetings. This coalition of brands and solution providers, many of them members, has committed to working together. They are harnessing their collective reach, resources and influence to unleash the power of brands and make sustainable living the good life of tomorrow. Learn what’s on the horizon, and find out how your brand can get engaged.
