Discussion Group Overview
Join our first Discussion Group of the year as we gather to examine the elements of a transformative, purpose-driven organizational governance model, and discuss how governance can help brands avoid 'sustainability hyperbole' and anchor their purpose in concrete business strategies and tactics.
On Tuesday, February 6th, hear from transformational business expert, best-selling author, and Professor in Residence at the University of Michigan's Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise Stuart L. Hart as he leads an interactive and conversational dialogue on bringing your brand purpose to life. In this 90-minute virtual forum, we'll explore the proven pathways and pitfalls businesses have experienced in the ongoing journey to Sustainable Capitalism - and the goals, aspirations, and corporate 'quests' it takes to successfully get there.
As part of our Membership offering, we convene interested participants from Member companies to discuss current topics of interest. In 2024, we are improving the Discussion Group program by offering unlimited access to employees of Member companies and by adding a fifth session.
What are Discussion groups?
Discussion Groups, which are sourced directly from Member feedback, dive into specific topics of shared interest.
Our goal is to use the Discussion Group format to:
We encourage you to invite additional colleagues from other parts of your organization whenever there might be interest - there is no longer any limit on how many participants may attend a Discussion Group from any one Member company. Depending on the topic, we may touch on issues related to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, communications and marketing, innovation and research & development, community or stakeholder engagement, employee or human resource groups, procurement or philanthropy. We want to create an opportunity to network and problem solve, using the power of the Member network
