Meeting Overview

Affiliate members meet in a pre-competitive setting to discuss best practices in sustainability. Enjoy finding inspiration, building insights, and making connections with your peers!

This meeting will focus on how to help brands make the business case for sustainability. We will explore how affiliate members are framing the expected return on investment (ROI) for sustainability, both to attract new clients and help existing clients to advocate internally and externally for the shift to a sustainable future.

SB will provide affiliate members with a sneak peek of the trends and insights emerging from the more than 100 companies that have taken the SB Brand Transformation Roadmap℠ so far. Ernst & Young Senior Manager, Kal Trinkner, will present on the process that the company goes through to 'reframe' the internal business case for sustainability. This interactive session will include case studies that show how the business case can vary based on each business. Engineering firm Buro Happold will break down how and why their corporate clients value sustainable building projects. We will also hear how other members are positioning the business case for messaging and storytelling about sustainability.

This meeting will paint a picture of how the business case for sustainability varies across the disciplines within our network, allowing us to consider different and new approaches while highlighting our commonalities.
